Algiers Hosts Africa’s Largest Construction Event: 27th Edition of BATIMATEC Kicks Off

Algiers – Algeria is gearing up to host the 27th edition of the International Exhibition for Construction, Building Materials, and Public Works – BATIMATEC – from May 4 to 8, 2025, at the SAFEX Exhibition Center in Pins Maritimes, under the high patronage of the Ministry of Housing, Urban Planning, and the City.

Spanning a total area of 40,000 square meters, the exhibition stands as the largest event of its kind on the African continent, bringing together hundreds of national and international exhibitors from across the construction, public works, and innovative building materials sectors.

A Rich Scientific Program and Professional Workshops

Beyond the commercial exhibitions, the event features a rich scientific program led by sector experts and professionals. Held in the central pavilion of SAFEX, the program includes a series of lectures and workshops on timely topics such as:
