Algiers – At the 2025 edition of the international construction fair Batimatec, the Chiâli Group made headlines by unveiling a locally developed thermal insulation technology, marking a first for Algeria. This major innovation is set to reduce the country’s dependence on imported materials in the construction and energy efficiency sector.

With this new solution, Chiâli Group aims to improve energy performance in Algerian buildings while meeting international standards for energy savings and sustainability. The insulation materials are engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, reduce heat loss, and enhance indoor thermal comfort.

“This is a strategic step forward for our industry. Today, we’re proving that Algeria can locally produce advanced insulation solutions,” said a company spokesperson.

This launch aligns with Chiâli Group’s broader ambition to become a key player in Algeria’s energy transition in the construction sector, while boosting the local economy and generating specialized job opportunities.
