برنامج “سيني جونة للأفلام القصيرة” يعلن عن المشاريع الفائزة بمنح الإنتاج

أنا الجزائر: يفتخر برنامج “سيني جونة للأفلام القصيرة” بالإعلان عن الفائزين بمنح الإنتاج في دورته الأولى، حيث يعتبر هذا القسم الواعد الجديد ضمن ذارع الصناعة لمهرجان الجونة السينمائي، مخصصًا للنهوض بالأفلام القصيرة المصرية، ودعم سرد القصص المحلية الأصيلة.

اختيرت المشاريع الفائزة بناءً على قوة وجودة القصص المقدمة، والمعالجات الفنية التي تكشف عن مخرجين واعدين جدد، ويؤكد هذا الاختيار على مهمة “سيني جونة للأفلام القصيرة” في دعم الأصوات الفريدة التي تُعزز المشهد السينمائي في مصر.

في دورته الأولى، اختار البرنامج ثلاثة مشاريع متميزة لتلقي منحة إنتاج سخية مقدمة من “أو ويست”، المدينة المتكاملة من “أوراسكوم للتنمية”؛ وجاء هذا الاختيار بعد جلسة عرض للمشاريع أمام لجنة تحكيم موقرة تضم المخرج والمنتج شريف البنداري، والمخرج سامح علاء، والمخرجة مي عودة، والتي عُقدت ضمن فعاليات ختام منصة سيني جونة في مهرجان الجونة السينمائي يوم 31 أكتوبر، بحضور كامل من محترفي الصناعة.

الفائزون بمنح إنتاج سيني جونة للأفلام القصيرة لعام 2024 هم:

الجائزة الأولى بقيمة مليون جنيه مصري: فيلم “في مثل هذه اللحظات، يجب أن تبكي” إخراج أحمد صبحي، وإنتاج مروة تمام.
الجائزة الثانية بقيمة 750,000 جنيه مصري: فيلم “ليلة وفاة الحاج عبد الجواد” إخراج حذيفة عبد الحليم، إنتاج نورا عبد الرحمن.
الجائزة الثالثة بقيمة 500,000 جنيه مصري: فيلم “شجر الليمون” إخراج مريم ناصر، إنتاج محمد جابر.

بالإضافة إلى الجوائز الرسمية الثلاث، رأت لجنة التحكيم إمكانات كبيرة في أحد المشاريع المتنافسة، وقررت منح جائزة خاصة تتمثل في جلسات إرشاد وتطوير لدعم مشروع واعد. فاز بها فيلم “عِظام أبي” من إخراج بيشوي يوسف وإنتاج رامي الجابري.

عن مهرجان الجونة السينمائي:

يعد مهرجان الجونة السينمائي أحد المهرجانات الرائدة في منطقة الشرق الأوسط وشمال إفريقيا، ويهدف إلى عرض مجموعة متنوعة من الأفلام من جميع أنحاء العالم، مع التركيز على السينما العربية، لجمهور متحمس ومطلع، كما يسعى إلى تعزيز التواصل بين الثقافات من خلال فن صناعة الأفلام. ويهدف المهرجان إلى ربط صناع الأفلام من المنطقة بنظرائهم الدوليين بروح التعاون والتبادل الثقافي. علاوة على ذلك، يهدف المهرجان إلى تعزيز ودعم نمو الصناعة في المنطقة وتوفير منصة لصناع الأفلام لعرض أعمالهم بالإضافة إلى اكتشاف أصوات ومواهب جديدة تثري صناعة السينما.

CineGouna Shorts proudly announces the winners of its inaugural production grants, this dynamic new section within the industry arm of ElGouna Film Festival; CineGouna, is dedicated to elevating Egyptian short films and championing authentic, local storytelling. This year’s selection, chosen for its artistic innovation and cultural resonance, underscores CineGouna Shorts’ mission to support the unique voices defining Egypt’s cinematic landscape.

Three unique projects are set to receive a generous production grant powered by O West, the fully integrated town by Orascom Development. The selection, made by our esteemed jury members Sherif El Bendary, Sameh Alaa, and May Odeh, came following a pitching session held at El Gouna Film Festival on the 31st of October, attended by a full house of industry professionals.

2024 CineGouna Shorts Production Grants Winners are:

First Award for 1,000,000 Egyptian Pounds: “In Such Moments, We Cry” directed by Ahmed Sobhy, Produced by Marwa Tammam
Second Award for 750,000 Egyptian Pounds: “The Last Wish” directed by Hozifa Abdelhalim, Produced by Noura Abdelrahman
Third Award for 500,000 Egyptian Pounds: “Lemon Trees” directed by Mariam Nasser, Produced by Mohamed Gaber.

In addition to the 3 official awards, the jury has found great potential in one of the competing projects, and has decided to offer a special jury award in the form of mentorship and development sessions to support a promising project. The awarded project is: Dead Tired, directed by Beshoy Youssef and produced by Ramy El Gabry.

This selection of projects reflects a powerful mosaic of Egyptian narratives that push creative boundaries and reveal profound, personal stories. Which aligns with CineGouna Shorts’ dedication to fostering a thriving environment for Egypt’s short film scene, offering award winners and participants opportunities for development, mentorship, and global exposure. This inaugural edition of CineGouna Shorts marks a promising new chapter in Egypt’s filmmaking industry, spotlighting stories that resonate deeply within Egypt and beyond.
