Four suspects arrested, including two women—cocaine, psychotropics, and prohibited weapons seized
The security services of the Algiers Province, represented by the 3rd Urban Police Station of Diar El Afia under the administrative district of Hussein Dey, have handled a case involving the possession of hard drugs and psychotropic substances for personal use, along with the illegal possession of sixth-category bladed weapons, and the offense of establishing a location for the practice of debauchery and prostitution.
The operation was launched following intelligence reports about suspicious criminal activity by a gang operating in a neighborhood of Hussein Dey. The police began investigations that led to the arrest of four individuals, including two women.
During the search, officers seized:
- A sum of 24,500 Algerian dinars, suspected to be proceeds from drug trafficking.
- A quantity of hard drugs (cocaine), psychotropic pills, and processed cannabis (kif).
- Two prohibited bladed weapons.
After completing all legal procedures, the suspects were brought before the territorially competent public prosecutor.
